Keith & Kristyn Getty have been hosting Sing! The Getty Music Worship Conference in Nashville since 2017. After each conference, an album of songs that were performed at the conference is released. The artists on this album from the 2025 conference include Keith & Kristyn Getty, CityAlight, Fernando Ortega, Matt Boswell, Matt Papa, Cochren & Co, Sandra McCracken, Dwan Hill and the Choir Room and the late Jubilant Sykes.

The 11th Annual Sing! Getty Music Worship Conference will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, from September 6–8, 2027. The event is for those who lead, plan, teach, sing, serve, and care deeply about the worship of the church. Come be equipped to serve faithfully where God has placed you. The conference is based at the Gaylord Opryland Resort.
The Long Surrender (Live at RCA Studios) – NEEDTOBREATHE

NEEDTOBREATHE released their The Long Surrender album, produced by Dave Cobb, in late March. It’s one of my favorite albums of the year. I love the raw, stripped-down sound on the album supporting Bear Rinehart’s powerful vocals.
Recently, they had released a few of the songs from the album recorded live at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio B (Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings), on YouTube. You can watch those performances here.
The band has now released six of the songs on this EP. The project features Bear Rinehart on vocals and guitar, Josh Lovelace on piano, Tyler Burkum on guitar, Randall Harris on drums and Lovelace, Burkum, Bre Kennedy Jess Nolan on backing vocals. It is produced by Cobb and NEEDTOBREATHE.
NEEDTOBREATHE is an excellent live band and have released a number of live projects in the past. This new project is a good addition to the band’s catalog.

“Last Drink” by NEEDTOBREATHE
This week’s song of the week is a surprise release from NEEDTOBREATHE. The song was written by Bear Rinehart and Willian Rinehart, and produced by Philip Smith. It is a deeply personal reflection on surrender, renewal, and the freedom found in choosing what to leave behind. Lead singer and songwriter Bear Rinehart writes about the song:
“”Last Drink” is a song about the freedom that comes from the long surrender. Sometimes pursuing what we care about means leaving other things behind. There were several things I chose to leave behind in this chapter of my life, but the things I gave up in the last year haven’t felt like sacrifices at all in hindsight. Their absence has created more space for me to care about the ones I love. I’m thankful to the band for joining me on this journey, and I’m thankful to yall for listening.”
The band has said that the song felt like an extension of their excellent The Long Surrender album.
