****
On The Resurrection of a King, award-winning producer, composer, and artist Tommee Profitt delivers a 19-track, 90-minute worship experience that reimagines classic hymns through his cinematic production. The album follows his 2020 album The Birth of a King, and features artists including Phil Wickham, CeCe Winans, Crowder, Jamie MacDonald, Ben Fuller, Jenn Johnson, and many more. The arrangements are backed by a full choir and orchestra resulting in a powerful experience, and one of my favorite albums of the year.
My favorite songs on the album were:
Jesus Paid It All – CeCe Winans
There is Power – Crowder
He Arose – Phil Wickham
When I Survey – Jenn Johnson
We Turn Our Eyes – Jamie MacDonald

[Verse 1]
Oh, let all that is within me bless His holy name
For His love endures forever and His mercy’s new today
We will enter with thanksgiving and fill His courts with praise
Come on, church, lift your voice and sing
[Chorus]
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord forever
Bless His name, let all within me sing
Praise the Lord forever
[Verse 2]
If your life’s been resurrected by the war that Jesus won
If you wait in expectation for a kingdom yet to comе
All you citizens of Heaven, sons and daughtеrs of the King
Come on, church, lift your voice and sing
[Chorus]
We will praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord forever
Bless His name, let all within me sing
Praise the Lord forever
I’ll praise Him forever
[Bridge]
For the one who’s brokenhearted and it’s hard to sing this song
‘Cause you’ve been walking through the valley and your faith is feeling small
I pray peace and love surround you from the God who understands
As the family all around you lifts your arms up when you can’t
Join the choir of creation with the song of the redeemed
Oh, come on, church, lift your voice and sing
[Chorus]
Oh, praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord forever (Oh, forever)
Bless His name, let all within me sing
Praise the Lord forever, and ever, and ever
Oh, we will praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Praise the Lord forever
Come on, bless His name, let all within me sing
Praise the Lord forever
Praise the Lord forever
All that is within me say, “Praise the Lord forever”
